Apple=Success

Apple continues to look for ways to make changes to the normal way of things. Recently Apple has released the new MacBook Air, an ultra slim MacBook. The MacBook Air has all flash storage; according to Apple, this “eliminates the hard drive enclosure” and “frees up about 90 percent more space . . . for other important things, like a bigger battery.” This has never been done before.

Another big release for Apple is the Mac App Store; this will provide an App, application, Store where one can buy products for desktop systems. Lance Ulanoff (Editor and Senior VP of content for PC Mag) states in his article, “Apple's Mac App Store: This Changes Everything”, that auto-instillation and auto-updates “would all become natural parts of the desktop and laptop operating system.” Apple is said to have convinced thousands of developers to participate under the conditions to keep “30% of all profits.” It will be interesting to see how these new ideas will play out.

Apple is a very successful company coming up with numerous innovative ideas. It is safe to say that they are holding their own in the technology market, with the products that they release. What is interesting is that with all of their success it is not all about putting out the best product; Apple makes it a priority to make their products as eco-friendly as possible. Apple is a company that will definitely be around for a while if it is able to continue its innovative thinking.

  2. Austin, I agree with your article completely. Apple is a successful business with not only the nicer looking things, but these products are also eco-friendly, which will drive more people to purchase these products. Because our world is becoming more focused to going green Apple is quickly rising to the top as far as electronics are concerned. The only negative that may effect Apple's progress are the prices of the products that are produced, but what eco-friendly product is cheap?

  3. When I noticed your blog was about Apple, Inc. and their innovative ways to make their products more eco-friendly, I was immediately captured since I am extremely interested in environmental affairs and a bit of a technology savvy person. I enjoyed you picture for this blog. It makes me want one of them! Anyway, Apple, Inc. has always been a lead manufacturer in the technology world. Still, it is nice to know that they are looking for more ways to be eco-friendly than just updating their products to be more efficient and portable. If Apple, Inc. leads the innovative way to being ultimately eco-friendly on step at a time, then other top manufacturers in the technology world will most definitely follow their lead into a better and more eco-friendly world.

  4. This article caught my attention because it had an Apple tag and I hate Apple products. So I decided to read and see what it was going to be about. I actually do agree with you, Apple has very successful products. What I learned that I had no idea about was that Apple was eco-friendly.
    I do believe that they will continue to rise because of all of their innovative ideas and their strive to help the environment.
    In response to what Chelle said, I do not that the price will affecrt the market too much. I believe it is just like cell phones. Even though they are expensive, everyone still buys them because that is what they really want.

  5. Your article is very true and this company will will excell even more in the future because they tend to do more inventive things then the other companies while the other companies only attempt to duplicate their products. Do you believe that Apple could possibly not only eliminate their competition but every single company other than itself in the future?

  6. Although Apple is a very inovative and technologically savy company, I will never buy their computers. They have these amazing items, such as the Macbook Air, but these items are just out of my price range. There is nothing to special about this computer other than that it is smaller than most computers. Personaaly, 1500 dollars is way too much money just to have the coolest computer in school.

  7. I agree with this article 100%, I'm not a big fan of the Mac but other than that, the iPods and iPads are GREAT! Apple has made things very useful and easier to manage. I honestly believe, Apple is the future.
